IFB Update 8/11/2010

Today’s blog post will focus on the race to the playoffs as we enter the final month of the regular season.  This post will include the overall league standings with how many games back a team is from first place overall and a playoff spot, potential playoff clinchers, toughest remaining schedules, and division races.

First, a look at the overall standings:

  1. Sparland Hilltoppers; 130-69-17
  2. 7 heaven; 119-83-14, 12.5 GB 1st
  3. JSloan; 117-82-17, 13 GB 1st
  4. Ferris Indians; 111-86-19, 18 GB 1st

As for playoff clinchers, there is only one team that can clinch this week:

  • Sparland Hilltoppers can clinch playoff spot if they win 3 more games than Most Daring, lose no more than .5 games to Funky Cold Molina, lose no more than 4 games to Triple Crown, and lose no more than 4.5 games to Anabolic A Rods and Bo Hart All Stars
