2010 Season in Review: Niemi No No

Here is the 5th installment in the Season in Review series:

Niemi No No

  • Record – 5-9 (3-3 Reagan)
  • Points for – 1192.58 (9th)
  • Points against – 1349.28 (12th)
  • MVP – RB Peyton Hillis (220.12 points)
  • Best Win – Week 11, Sparland Hilltoppers (128.40 – 79.84)
  • Worst Loss – Week 14, Da Win (165.68 – 64.34)
  • Longest Win Streak – 2 (Weeks 3-4, 11-12)
  • Longest Losing Streak – 4 (Weeks 5-8)

Niemi No No was able to stay in the playoff race late in the season, but two losses to close out the year sent this team to their doom.  They posted a respectable 5-9 record overall, and a 3-3 record in a down Reagan Division, but scoring points and giving up points was a major factor this year.  NNN only had two losses this season in which they were within 20 points, and appeared on the Greatest Fantasy Victory list 4 times this season, but only once in victory.  NNN did find success in picking up one of the fantasy surprises of 2010, Browns RB Peyton Hillis.  But more points will need to be scored to have a competitive 2011.
