2010 Season in Review: TimTebOwned

The 8th installment in the series takes a look at a team with a play-on name for a notable rookie.

Tim TebOwned

  • Record – 8-9 (3-4 Lincoln)
  • Playoffs – 3rd Place Consolation
  • Points For – 1117.50 (12th)
  • Points Against – 1261.92 (8th)
  • Playoffs Points For – 188.68 (8th)
  • Playoffs Points Against – 320.86 (8th)
  • MVP – QB Phillip Rivers (341.60)
  • Best Win – Week 2, DaBearColts (107.26 – 65.06)
  • Worst Loss – Week 12, ItsonlikeNdamukong (110.96 – 42.90)
  • Best Win Streak – 3 (Weeks 1-3)
  • Worst Losing Streak – 4 (Weeks 11-14)

It was a strong start to 2010 for Tim TebOwned, going 3-0 and looking to be a force in the IFL.  But the season came crashing down, only winning four more match-ups, including a four-game losing streak to close out the season.  Despite the struggles and slide, Tim TebOwned was able to sneak into the playoffs, but could not muster enough momentum to make an impact.

Tim TebOwned was another team plagued by points in 2010.  Tim TebOwned was the only team in the playoffs who had more points against them than they scored, scoring the 3rd least over the season.  The team’s MVP, Phillip Rivers, nearly doubled the point total scored in 2010 over the next highest scorer (QB Jon Kitna, 189.60).  And in the playoffs, Tim TebOwned scored the least amount of points, and has the most scored against them.

Things could be on the up-and-up next season though, with a decent draft slot and momentum from winning the 7th place game.  But point totals will need to improve or Tim TebOwned could miss the playoffs.
