Week 17 Review

Week 17’s review is a couple days late, but there’s a good reason for that.  I spent the weekend in Milwaukee with Most Daring for another edition of IFL Road Trip.  That post will be tomorrow or Friday.  But for now, a recap of Week 17.

First, a loot at the awards from Week 17:

  • Bugs Bunny Best Record – BooBooCubs (10-1-1)
  • The Simpsons Runs Leader – PujolsalwaysCardinal (39)
  • Josie and the Pussycats Hits Leader – SouthSideSluggers (83)
  • Homer Simpson Home Runs Leader – Quincy Dirtbags (15)
  • Fat Albert RBI Leader – Funky Cold Molina (53)
  • Speedy Gonzalez Stolen Base Leader – SouthSideSluggers (10)
  • Heather Average Leader – The Chosen People (.338)
  • Rainbow Dash Wins Leader – Quiet TheRiot (6)
  • Timmy Turner Losses Leader – SouthSideSluggers (1)
  • Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers Saves Leader – Muse Academy Muses/Quiet TheRiot/BooBooCubs/All Balls No Strikes (5)
  • Herbert Walks Leader – BooBooCubs (6)
  • Wile E. Coyote K’s Leader – Muse Academy Muses (70)
  • Peppermint Patty ERA Leader – SouthSideSluggers (1.82)

And now a look at the standings breakdown:

The major changes from Week 17 to Week 18 (besides getting rid of the colors on the spreadsheet) came from the Lincoln Division.  Last week’s leader in that division, Most Daring, suffered a bad week and is now in the basement of the Lincoln, but only 3.5 games back.  There is also a tie for the last wild card spot between division foes BooBooCubs and Quincy Dirtbags, with 8 teams within 4.5 games or in a wild card spot.  There will be no playoff scenario update this week, because there is only one potential scenario.

FernandoVinasGoatee has been eliminated from winning the Reagan Division and the top overall seed.  If they lose 7 games this week to the 8th placed overall team, they will be eliminated from playoff contention.

And to wrap it up (just to get this posted), how teams have done in the last 5 weeks:
